Let’s start with the obvious – Our largest grocery store is Safeway in Aberdeen. It’s a busy store packed with larger scale food producers. A great place to grab everything in one place!
Looking for an alternative? Check out Swansons, the locally owned grocery store is located in South Aberdeen and Hoquiam. Comparable to Safeway, but a bit smaller. You’ll find more local produce and unique offerings. Also, you can buy your clam/fishing license here!
3. Organics 101
This cute little market caries a variety of organic packaged goods and produce as well as holds a juice and smoothie bar inside. Located right in the center of downtown and close to coffee shops, the Thriftway grocery and the downtown park, you can grab a juice and head out on a quick walk to stretch your legs on your way to the beach.
This market has been open since nearly the start of Seabrook and it provides groceries and supplies to those staying in the area. They sell a great variety of wine, beer and groceries as well as provide a full service espresso stand and sandwich shop too!
Situated in a quiant red barn near the highway, you’ll find a variety of gourmet goodies being sold alongside other services such as fresh squeezed juice and ice cream served up on the cone. They hold a variety of produce, packaged goods as well as refigerator cases of dairy, beer and desserts as well as a meat and cheese selection.
Soon to make a move to downtown Aberdeen in fall 2018, this grocery sells a variety of bulk foods, vitamins, produce and foods that fit special dietary needs. Their expansion promises the addition of prepared foods and even more offerings!
